1st March 2008 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: WNW Wind Stength: F4-6 Surf / Sea State: Messy Chop Air Temperature: 11.5C Sea Temperature: Weather: Cloudy- clearing Max Speed: Distance Covered: First time out for nearly a month. My voice still croaky after a chest infection. It was cold and I suffered some finger hots. Starting early on it was just right on the 6-5. I thought the wind would drop as that is what the forecast predicted. well, it didn't! Infact if anything it built to more and more. BY 2-30 I was shagged. I made a lot of decent dry gybes in what were pretty challenging conditions. At the end I went out on the slalom. DOH, it was very hairy as it was a bit too windy for it. Very good fun. At first it was Julian and Ian out and I saw Anette a few times. Then John Mich, Dave K. Later Colin came along to have a go. Some guy learning to Vulcan was good to see. |
